We have also received inquiries about unpaid stipends from other research faculty. We hope the above link helps.
We are pleased to report that other faculty have received delinquent payments for grants in today’s paychecks.
The Medical School faculty are not part of the UT-AAUP bargaining unit and have been denied research stipends for which they are entitled. There could be a breach of contract action in an Ohio Court.
We also learned that part-time instructors in the Department of Music have not been paid. Although these part-time instructors are not in our bargaining unit, we brought this to the attention of the President and Provost. Interim Dean Gregory has responded that these part-time instructors will be paid.
If anyone knows of other part-time instructors not being paid, please let us know.
