Article 12.6.3 of the T/TT CBA provides for a research stipend for UT-AAUP Bargaining Unit Members.
The stipends are tied to research grants, for example $2500 for a grant of $250,000 to $500,000 as stated in the CBA Article.
The UT-AAUP has received complaints from Members that these stipends are not being paid.
The UT-AAUP has been following-up for Members who report that stipends are not paid.
We were recently successful in obtaining full payments for two Members who had filed for payment over 13 months ago. They came to us about three weeks ago after months and months of emails asking for payments.
Please let the UT-AAUP know if you have filed for a stipend under Article 12.6.3 and have not been paid.
